John Gins

Joined TD: 1989/03 to 1996/08

Also Known As: Employee Number 800+

Role at TD: During my tenure I worked with Dan H and Chuck McD to help write test cases for the Japanese version of the Teradata Database. I was transfered to the AP (Application Processor) project better known as the Charles River project. I learned to be very proficient in Unix and tutored many NCR and Teradata folks in it. We did install several pilot machines before the NCR version was available. I finally returned to professional service and after a few years helped Ken Reed start a Methods and Modeling (Datamining) practice.
